Object documentation Support Group  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Definition

Groups a number of persons that can all be assigned to a support team for a requisition, a talent group, application groups, applications, or agencies.

Use

Support groups are created and maintained centrally by the administrator. The administrator can create groups, for example, that are responsible by default for specific requisitions. The administrator can change assignments retroactively and add persons, for example.

By assigning a support group, the recruiter can assign all relevant members of the support team in a single step. The system does not expand the support groups when the assignment is made. Therefore, changes to the support group have an effect on all support groups already assigned.

Structure

The structure of the support group contains the following data:

Basic Data

Title

Contains the title of the support group on the user interface.

Category

Categorizes support groups, for example, according to tasks or country assignments.

Note

You create the possible categories in the Customizing for SAP E-Recruiting under Define Categories for Groupings.

Description

Contains the description of the possible use of a support group.

Group Role

Specifies the role of the group members of a support group.

Note

To assign a support group to an agency, you must assign the Data Entry Clerk group role.

Members of Support Group

Contains the names of the group members and their role in the recruitment process. For some group members, this role can be different to the role that is predefined for all group members in the basic data of the support group.

Integration

You can assign the support groups to the support teams or an agency.

Note

You can also assign individual team members to a support team. The data for these members is stored in the Team Members infotype (IT 5131).

The data for a support group is stored in the following infotypes:

      Support Group Information (infotype 5151)

      Group Members (infotype 5152)
