Use

In the Payment Release List application, you use lists to organize items. You can create as many lists as you require, and the lists provide different tabs. You can process the items in your lists using the actions in the list header area or on the list tabs.

Features

Lists provide different tab types for unassigned items (items for processing or exceptions), assigned items, and information such as warning messages and a list log.

Lists have the status Open or Closed.

When you configure the Payment Release List application, you can define list tabs and the actions that are available on the tabs.

Activities

When you use a Payment Release List application for the first time, only the list header area appears. You can display other processors’ lists or you can create your own lists. After you have created lists, they appear in a list tree.

You can process items in your lists using:

Actions in the list header area

These actions are relevant for the list and all items in the list. For example, you can display the list attributes. Some actions are relevant for all items in the list. For example, you can approve, refuse or perform other actions for a list of items.

      Actions on the list tabs

You can use these actions to process selected items.

Note

You can define the actions available in Customizing for Payment Release List.

For information about the actions defined in the standard settings, see Actions.

Caution

Actions that you use to process items can also be made available in the header area. If you execute an action in the header area, the system will process all items on a tab including items that are not displayed because a filter is set in the SAP List Viewer.

We therefore recommend that you position actions for processing items with extreme caution.

You can move items to different lists: to lists that you created or other processors’ lists. When you create a list, you are the processor of the list; however, you can also change the processor of a list.
