Process documentation Creation of TRM Activities  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

You can use this process to create Talent Relationship Management activities (TRM activities) for candidates. TRM activities are always based on the relevant candidate and not on the assignment of a candidate. You create TRM activities via the search results of the Candidate Search in the Talent Pool or via the candidate profile, which you can call from numerous candidate lists in the program.

Prerequisites

You have used Customizing to create processes and assigned them to the Talent Relationship Management process group using the Customizing activity Assign Processes to Recruitment. You have used the Customizing activity Assign Activity Types to Recruitment Processes to assign to these processes the activity types that you want to use within the framework of TRM.

Process Flow

Creation of TRM activities from the hit list of the Candidate Search in the Talent Pool

       1.      In the recruiter's work center under Recruitment à Candidates, you choose the Candidate Searchservice. The Candidate Search dialog box appears.

       2.      You search the Talent Pool for candidates for whom you want to create TRM activities.

       3.      The system displays a list of the candidates matching the search criteria.

       4.      You select one or more entries in the list.

       5.      You choose the Activities pushbutton.

       6.      The system opens the activity wizard containing all processes and associated activity types that you can create for a candidate (processes of the Talent Relationship Management process group).

       7.      You select an activity and enter the required information.

       8.      You confirm your entries.

       9.      The system creates the activities for the selected candidates.

Creation of TRM activities on the candidate profile

...

       1.      You open the candidate profile of a candidate by clicking on the relevant candidate in the Candidate column of the hit list for Candidate Search. The Candidate Profile dialog box appears.

Note

You can also call the candidate profile from other candidate lists within SAP E-Recruiting.

       2.      In the candidate profile, you select the Activities tab page and call the list of TRM activities.

       3.      You choose the Create Activity function.

       4.      The system opens the activity wizard with all processes that are assigned to the Talent Relationship Management process group.

       5.      You select an activity of a process by clicking it.

       6.      You store the required data for the activity and choose OK.

       7.      The system creates the activity for the candidate and adds the activity to the list of TRM activities.

Create TRM activities and edit again later

...

       1.      You create the TRM activity with the status Planned.

       2.      The system displays the activity status in the activity wizard.

       3.      The system displays the activity in the My Planned TRM Activities query in the dashboard.

       4.      You call the activity from the list for the query in the dashboard.

Note

Alternatively, you can call the activity from the activity wizard or from the list of TRM activities in the candidate profile.

       5.      You edit the activity and set the status to Completed.

       6.      The system flags the activity as completed. The activity is no longer displayed in the dashboard in the list of planned TRM activities.
