A sales report can be classified into several different types, so that you can apply different reporting rules to it. When you run a sales update report, the system uses the information in the different kinds of sales report to determine the net sales-based amount.
Common Sales Report – a normal sales report with no discount, promotion, or allowances
VIP Sales Report – a sales report where an eligible VIP discount is applied
Promotional Sales Report – a sales report where a promotional discount is applied
Coupon Sales Report – a sales report where a coupon is used.
Voucher Sales Report – a sales report where a voucher is used. A voucher is considered as short-term, or once-off activity
Lease-in Sales report – a sales report where a lease-in contract is used
