You use this business function to provide Time Sheet enhancements that you require in addition to the business function Commercial Project Inception and Lean Staffing (PRS_ERP_CPILS_1) to enable time recording within the framework of Lean Staffing.

The business function provides the following enhancements to the user interfaces for CATS regular (Web Dynpro) and the Web application Approve Working Time:

  • The worklist of the Time Sheet contains the data from the staff assignment of Lean Staffing. Employees can now report back their working times to the assignment objects stored in Lean Staffing.

  • The system performs automatic input checks for time recording based on the data from the staff assignment of Lean Staffing.

  • The Time Sheet user interfaces support the service attributes that you can use to enhance the data structure in Lean Staffing.

  • The mass approval of recorded working time data is possible within the framework of Lean Staffing as the service attributes are integrated in the Web application Approve Working Time.

  • You have activated the Enterprise Extension Human Capital Management (EA-HR).

  • You have activated the business function Human Capital Management. For more information, see Human Capital Management.

  • You have activated the business function PRS_ERP_CPILS_1. It is absolutely necessary that you activate this business function before you activate the business function PRS_HCM_CPILS_1.

    The enhancements of the user interfaces for CATS classic, which uses SAP GUI, and the enhancements of the application logic for all CATS user interfaces are part of the business function PRS_ERP_CPILS_1.

  • You have made the necessary settings in Customizing for the Time Sheet (CATS). For more information, see the release note for this business function.
