Use

With this function you transfer the actual delivery quantity to the billing document.

INTEGRATION

The transfer price is transferred from the goods receipt posting to the billing document. The corresponding condition value can no longer be changed in the billing document.

Prerequisites

      In the pricing procedure you are using you have assigned the condition basis formula 420 to condition type PR00.

To do this, in Customizing the ERP system choose Sales and Distribution Basic Functions Pricing Pricing Control Define And Assign Pricing Procedures.

      If you are using pricing scales, you have assigned scale base value form 425 to condition type PR00.

To do this, in Customizing the ERP system choose Sales and Distribution Basic Functions Pricing Pricing Control Define Condition Types.

      You have made sure that for all document types that are used for catch weight-related billing documents, you have selected all checkboxes for invoice separation indicators.

To do this, in Customizing of the ERP systems choose Sales and Distribution Billing Billing Documents Define Billing Types.

Features

The billing document copies the entries for the delivery quantity from the delivery. For catch weight materials, the quantity in parallel unit of measure is transferred in addition to the quantity in base unit of measure, and can be taken into account for conditions that are quantity-dependent. Price determination uses this information to re-determine the condition basis in accordance with the following three cases (the following assumes that the parallel and valuation units of measure are the same).

      The condition unit of measure does not match the valuation unit of measure.

In this instance, the condition basis is calculated using the conversion factor entered in the material master. The sales unit is converted to the condition unit using the base unit of measure.

Example

The condition unit of a material is box (BOX), the valuation unit (= parallel unit of measure) is kilograms (KG). You have entered a planned conversion factor of 1 BOX = 10 KG in the material master. For an order of 10 KG of this material, pricing determines the condition basis of 1 KAR from the planned conversion factor.

      The condition unit of measure matches the valuation unit of measure.

In this case, no conversion is needed. The quantity in valuation unit is transferred as the condition basis direct.

Example

The condition unit of a material is kilograms (KG), the valuation unit (= parallel unit of measure) is likewise KG. For an order of 10 KG of this material and for a delivery of 10 KG, pricing transfers 10 KG as the condition basis to the billing document.

      The condition unit of measure references the valuation unit of measure.

In this instance, pricing converts the unit of measure transferred from the delivery to the valuation unit of measure. However, this presupposes that the condition unit has the same dimension as the valuation unit.

Example

The condition unit of a material is ton (TON), the valuation unit (= parallel unit of measure) is kilograms (KG). For an order and a delivery of 1,000 KG of this material, 10 TONs are billed.

Example

The following defined for the material pork side:

      Base unit of measure: PC (piece)

      Parallel unit of measure (= valuation unit): KG

      Planned conversion factor in the material master: 1 PC = 75 KG

      Condition unit of measure: KG

You receive an order for 10 PC of pork side. According to the planned conversion factor from the material master, this would correspond to 750 KG. The planned conversion factor is used as a basis for pricing in the order: for a condition base of 750 KG and a price of 1.10 EUR/KG the result is a condition value of 825 EUR.

You deliver 10 PC of pork side with a total weight of 800 KG. These entries from the delivery are transferred to the billing document: as the condition base now amounts to 800 KG, the result of a price of 1.10 EUR/KG is a condition value of 880 EUR.
