Use

Once a defect record has been created in the system, you can display, change, and delete the record. While there are no restrictions in displaying a defect record, certain limitations apply if you want to change or delete a record (for example, if you want to add or remove additional information from a record).

Automatically Created Defect Records

Manually Created Defect Records

If the usage decision has been made, you can only change or delete automatically and manually created defect records using the functions to process quality notifications.

Note

All inactive defect records that have not been activated as quality notifications are completed when the usage decision is made. You must process all defect records that have been activated as quality notifications using the Quality Notification component.
