Procedure documentation Activating Quality Notifications Automatically  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

For the system to be able to activate a defect record as a quality notification automatically, your system administrator must first activate the corresponding defect classes for a Workflow link or for the automatic activation of a quality notification in the Customizing application. You must then assign the desired defect codes to the defect classes.

Assigning a Defect Code to a Defect Class

  1. Choose Logistics ® Quality management ® Quality planning Basic data Catalog Edit.

The initial screen for catalog processing appears.

  1. Specify catalog 9 (defects) in the catalog field and enter a key for the code group. (If you do not know the code group, you can search generically.)
  2. Choose Catalog Create/Change.

  1. Select a code group and choose Codes.

  1. Choose the desired defect class for the code in the corresponding column.
  1. Save the data.
