Procedure documentation Change Status  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

To document which processes have already been performed for an entry, each entry has a particular status. For further differentiation, a status can have one or more sub-statuses. The given sub-statuses of a status vary according to area and document type.

The respective status of an entry is usually set by the system. Depending on the area and document type, you can also change certain statuses manually using the function change status  To document, for example, that an entry has been transferred or received correctly (that is, the process is complete), set the status manually to OK.
Likewise, you can change the status incorrect to error—process anew, if you have corrected the error and you want to perform the process again.

·
Note
Simultaneous status changes to several entries are only possible, if the entries have the same area, document type, and status.

The following statuses exist:

¡        new:
The system sets this status, as soon as an entry appears for the first time in the B2A Manager. You still have not performed a process with this entry.

¡        in process:
The system sets this status, when you have performed a process with this entry, but the process has not yet been completed.

¡        incorrect:
If a serious error occurs during a process, you can not immediately correct it yourself. The process can then only be performed again, if you have manually changed the status, for example, in error - process anew.

¡        incorrect – process anew:
You can manually set this status, if an error occurs during a process that you have corrected. You can then immediately repeat the process.

¡        OK:
The process is complete. This status is not set by the system. You set the status manually to document that a process is completed, for example, if you have received confirmation from the authority.
An entry with the status OK can then no longer accept another status.

Note
The display only open processes indicator is always set in the standard setting. Entries with the status OK are not displayed in this case.
