Selection Summary
The table below describes how to use each selection method to make single, multiple non-adjacent, and multiple adjacent selections.

Mouse Click |
Move the mouse pointer over the item to be selected and click the item. |

Seek |
Type the first one or more characters of the item to move the selection highlight to the first occurrence of an item that starts with the character(s). To move the selection highlight to the next occurrence, or to an item that starts with different characters, pause for half a second, and again type one or more characters. |

To select all of the items in a window that has the focus, press Ctrl + A (or choose Edit ® Select All). This works in lists, trees, and grids that support multi-item selection (but only if the list or tree does not have an [ALL] or [NULL] choice).
To invert the selection of items in the Records grid (in Record and Hierarchy mode) and the Attributes grid (in Taxonomy mode) when the gird has the focus, press Shift + Ctrl + A.
