Syntax

LEFT(s1, n2)

●      s1: the string value

●      n2: the number of graphemes

Example

LEFT(“Mañana”, 3)         ® “Mañ” [Pre SP5 Patch 2 ® “Man”)

LEFT(“Mañana”, 30) ® “Mañana”
