Procedure

       1.      Open the Menu Painter for the relevant program.

       2.      Open an empty menu bar using the expand icon This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

       3.      If you want to use the default settings, choose Display standards.

       4.      If you are using the standards, change the first menu title <Object> to something relevant to your application.

       5.      If you are not using the standards, enter the menu titles as required.

       6.      Add menu entries to the menus.

Note

The Menu Painter supports the user interface standards outlined in the SAP Style Guide by proposing names for GUI objects. To display the proposals, open the Menu Painter and choose Utilities ® Help texts ® Standards/Proposals. Following these proposals helps you to create transactions with the look and feel of the standard applications.
