Defining a Status 

Purpose

Use this process to create a new GUI status using the Menu Painter.

Process Flow

To create a new GUI Status, use the following procedures in the sequence in which they occur below.

●      Creating a GUI Status

●      Creating a Menu Bar (or create a reference to an existing menu bar)

●      Adding Functions to a Menu

●      Defining Function Key Settings

●      Defining an Application Toolbar (or create a reference to an existing one)

●      Creating the Standard Toolbar (or create a reference to an existing one)

●      Testing and Activating a Status

Navigation

You can maintain a status from various points within the ABAP Workbench:

●      From the Object Navigator, under Program objects

●      By forward navigation from the ABAP Editor

●      From the initial screen of the Menu Painter (transaction code SE41).
