Designing the Screen Layout  

Purpose

You use this process to you design the screen layout of a screen in the Graphical Layout Editor of the Screen Painter.

Process Flow

To design a screen, you go though the following stages:

●      Create a screen. For more information, see Creating a Screen.

●      Select the ABAP Dictionary fields or the program fields that you want to use on your screen. For more information, see Inserting Fields.

●      Add other screen elements to the work area. For more information, see Screen Elements and Basic Operations with Screen Elements.

●      Maintain the attributes of the selected elements. For more information, see Maintaining Attributes for Screen Elements.

●      Create the flow logic for the screen. For more information, see Creating Flow Logic.

●      Ensure that your screen layout conforms to the SAP ergonomic standards. For more information, see Checking Screens.
