You can use this report to check the folder settings. The Folder Settings report searches only folders in the specified scope in which the versioning, lifetime, or approval process is enabled. In the case of an approval process, the report lists all the approval steps. By default, you can check the versioning, lifetime, or approval process in the Details dialog box for a folder in the Settings menu option.

Features

  1. Choose   Content Management   Reports   Folder Settings  .

  2. Choose Start from the list of commands to start the report immediately, or choose Schedule to run the report later on.

  3. Enter a name for the report in the Name field.

  4. When you choose Schedule, enter the start time of the report on the Schedule tab and specify the recurrence interval in the Repeat field if required.

  5. On the Scope tab, enter the paths to the folders you want the report to analyze. You can enter a path directly in the Location field or you can use the Browse... function to navigate to the required folder. Choose Add to add the location to the scope of the report.

    You must determine the scope of the report and restrict the report to certain repositories or folders (including all subordinate folders). Specify all repositories and folders that are to be searched.

    Maximum Results

    The system terminates the search when it has found the corresponding number of items.

  6. If you specified Schedule, the report starts later on, at the time that you specified. To complete the report, save your entries.

Result

Once the report has finished, you can call the result by choosing the name of the report from the list of the reports. You can find this list when you choose   Content Management   Reports   Folder Settings  . If you want to see the reports exported in the XML files choose   Content Administration   KM Content   root   Reporting   Reports   Content Management   Tools   Folder Settings   or open the View Report Result screen by choosing the report and then from the ID parameter choosing the XML file.
