Display of Documents for InfoProvider Data 

You are using the Document List Web item in a Web application or you have opened the document display for InfoProvider data from the Documents context menu in the BEx Analyzer/Web application.  You notice that the list of documents displayed is not correct:

●      Documents that are saved and are relevant to the current navigational state are missing from the display.

●      Documents that are not relevant to the current navigational state are also displayed.

Another possibility is that you have activated the Display Document Links query property and the display of the document icons is not correct.

Background Information: Document-Relevant Characteristics

Documents for InfoProvider data are assigned to multiple characteristic values, multiple key figures, and (optional) a query or an InfoProvider. This means the documents can have the fixed properties InfoProvider, Query, and Key Figure. The documents also have some characteristics as properties. These are the characteristics that are set as Characteristic Is Document Property in characteristic maintenance. You can use these characteristics only to assign a document to the InfoProvider data. These characteristics are called document-relevant characteristics. For example, you can assign a document to InfoProvider ABC, key figures Sales Revenue and Profit, as well as materials Television and Radio, and year 2002.
