The title bar is set before the maintenance screen which is to be displayed is called. It has the structure:

'View "<NAME>" Field bar TITLE'

  • 'View' is constant

  • <NAME> is the Data Dictionary short text for the table/view, and is set when the maintenance dialog is first called

  • TITLE comprises:

  • TITLE ACTION: contains the action mode of the screen called, and can contain the following constant values

  • DISPLAY: the data can not be changed, and are only displayed

  • AENDERN: the data can be changed

  • INSERT: new data can be entered. The function 'New entries' was called

  • COPY: new data can be entered. The function 'Copy' was called.

  • GELOESCHT: Entries have been flagged for deletion . The user is in the function 'Display deleted'

  • TRANSPORT: The user is in manual transport mode

  • TITLE MODE: specifies the type of the maintenance screen called, and can take the following constant values

  • LIST_BILD

    the maintenance screen called is the overview screen

  • DETAIL_BILD

    the maintenance screen called is the single screen

  • TITLE DATA: states the type of the displayed selection

  • ALL DATA: all entries are displayed

  • SELECTED DATA: only specified types of entries are displayed, e.g. all marked entries, changed entries, entries flagged for deletion, entries selected by contents.
