ITS services must be integrated in the SAP system to be executable with the integrated ITS.

The storage format and storage location of the templates and MIME files in the system-internal tables has changed with the SAP Web Application Server 6.40. To be able to view the ITS service files (templates, MIME files, and so on) properly in the ABAP Workbench, you must perform the following step.

Procedure

  1. ITS services that were never before contained in an SAP system (for example, ITS services developed with the SAP@Web Studio), must be checked in using report SIAC_UPLOAD.

  2. If the ITS service was developed in the ABAP Workbench in a system before SAP Web Application Server 6.40, then the MIME files and templates must first be converted. This procedure is described in SAP Note 678904.

Result

You now see the ITS services properly in the ABAP Workbench and can edit them there.
