Procedure documentation Importing MIME Objects  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use this procedure to import MIME objects into the MIME Repository.

Note

When you have a BSP application, the system creates an identically-named folder in the MIME Repository containing all MIME objects for the application. When you have a Web Dynpro Application, the system does not create a folder automatically in the MIME Repository. Instead, it is created when you import the first MIME object into the Web Dynpro application.

Procedure

...

       1.      Open the Object Navigator (transaction SE80) and start the MIME Repository Browser.

       2.      Expand the hierarchy and select the folder belonging to your application.

       3.      In the context menu, choose Import ® MIME Objectsand locate the file that you want to import. For more information about allowed MIME types, see Supported MIME Types.

The Create New Document screen appears.

       4.      Maintain the MIME attributes and choose Save.

Note

The maximum size of MIME objects you can import depends on the maximum roll area size of the SAP system.

       5.      Assign a package to the MIME object and choose Save.

Note

You can also perform a mass import of MIME objects by using the WebDAV interface. For more information, see Mass Import of MIMEs Using WebDAV.

Result

You have added one or several MIME objects to the MIME Repository.

Note

If you want to copy the corresponding MIME objects together with a BSP application, choose the MIME Objects line in the Subobjects to be copied area of the copy dialog.
