Importing SCAs
for the Track

This is a configuration step that you have to take to manually configure SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI) only if the automatic configuration fails.
Note that the behavior is different if you are using CM Services: upload system and import of archives or libraries.
You can find the Software Component Archives (SCAs) required for the build process of the Java, J2EE, Web Dynpro, and Dictionary development on the DVD SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 Java under:
● SAPJEE<SP>_<patch>.SCA (display name: SAP J2EE ENGINE <Release>)
● SAPJTECHS<SP>_<patch>.SCA (display name: SAP JAVA TECH SERVICES <Release>)
● SAPBUILDT<SP>_<patch>.SCA (display name: DI BUILD TOOL <Release>)
You can find the SCAs for the build process of other developments types such as Composite Application Framework (CAF) on the DVD SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 Java under the following relative path:
● \J2EE_OSINDEP\UT

For more
information about SCAs for the build process, see
Types of Development
Components. Choose a DC type to see the required SCs.
Copy the required
SCAs to the inbox of the transport directory which
has been configured in the Change Management Service (CMS), if they were not
copied there automatically. You find the transport directory in the Domain tab page of the CMS. More information: Creating Domains.
From this directory, required archives are imported into the tracks (this
import may already be necessary for the preconfigured demo track). More
information:

Development Landscape: Landscape Configurator.
