You use this function to display and classify objects in the Tree Browser of the Classification Toolset.
You have entered your search criteria in the Classification Browser (transaction SCLAS) and the Tree Browser is started by default.
The Tree Browser provides you with a hierarchical display of the selected objects organized in the following way:

● Application component
This level displays the packages that belong to the component. This level is omitted if there is only one relevant package or if the browser is used to display a list of objects.
● Package
This level is omitted if the browser is used to display a list of objects.
● Object Types, Object Type Groups, Filters
Represent the hierarchy of object types to which you can apply a characteristic.
● Objects
○ Implicit objects - main objects that are not relevant for classifications. On the lower level they always have objects.
○ Explicit objects - main objects that are relevant for classifications. On the lower level they can have characteristics.
● Characteristics
This level displays all relevant characteristics.
● Classifications
This level displays all explicit and implicit classifications of the object.
The effective classifications of key characteristics are displayed in the columns next to the hierarchy column.
● Object links
This level displays classifications of linked objects.
The classification of objects takes place in the Classification Grid. The Tree Browser is only an entry point into it. For more information, see Classification of Objects in the Classification Grid.
