Maintaining Classifications 

Purpose

You use this process to classify objects in the Classification Toolset. The main tool for performing classifications is the Classification Browser.

Prerequisites

To start the Classification Browser, do one of the following:

●      In the Repository Browser (transaction SE80), in the context menu of a package, choose Display ® Classification

●      Start transaction SCLAS.

Process Flow

You can use the Classification Browser to perform the following activities:

●      Look up classifications of objects. For more information, see Selection Criteria in the Classification Browser.

●      Display and edit classifications of objects in the Tree Browser and the List Browser of the Classification Browser. For more information, see Tree Browser and List Browser.

●      Classify single and multiple objects in the Classification Grid. For more information, see Classification of Objects in the Classification Grid.
