Use

You can use this report to evaluate and search the content of KM repositories using different criteria. The report searches all repositories, regardless of whether indexes exist.

 

You can use this report to answer the following questions:

      How many files larger than 5 MB are located in the documents repository?

      How many ZIP files are located in the documents repository?

      How much memory do the files that have been created beneath /documents/Public Documents in the last 14 days need?

 

The system displays the number of documents and folders found and calculates the amount of memory needed. You can also choose to display a list of all documents and folders found.

Location

You can restrict the report to certain repositories or folders (including all subordinate folders). Specify all repositories and folders that are to be searched.

Maximum Results

The system terminates the search when it has found the corresponding number of items.

Created By

Name of the user that created the item.

Modified By

Name of the user that last changed the item.

Filter by Modification Date

Specifies whether the search is restricted to items last changed after a certain time (see Modified Since).

Modified Since

Date and time after which items that have been modified should be taken into account.

Minimum Size:

Minimum size of an item, in bytes.

Maximum Size

Maximum size of an item, in bytes.

Access Path Pattern

Pattern for the path in the repository to which items should correspond.

You can use the following placeholders:

? : Any character

* : Any character string, but without forward slash (/). An asterisk replaces a maximum of one level in the path (name of repository, name of folder, or name of document).

** : Any character string including forward slash (/).
Two asterisks replace any number of levels in the path.

 

Examples:

/documents/**/Minutes/**
finds all items in the documents repository that are located in the folder with the name
Minutes and in all subordinate folders.

 

/documents/*/Minutes/**
There can only be one level in the path between
documents and Minutes.

 

**.zip
finds all files with the file name extension
.zip in all repositories.

 

Note

You do not need to specify the path that you already defined on the Scope tab page in this field.

 

Include Files

Specifies whether or not documents are to be searched.

Include Folders

Specifies whether or not folders are to be searched.

List Matching Items

Specifies whether or not the system is to display a list of all documents and folders found in the report results.

 

The parameters are linked with AND.
