This section describes administrative tasks concerning SAP JVM.

Procedure

  1. Ensure you have the current version of SAP JVM installed.

    If not, download the latest version from the SAP Support Portal. Navigate along the following path:   https://service.sap.com/patches   Support Packages and Patches   Browse our Download Catalog   SAP Technology Components   SAP JVM 4.1   .

  2. After the installation, perform the initial setup. Configure the memory layout and the garbage collection.

  3. You can monitor and control your running SAP JVM using various tools.

  4. If you encounter problems with SAP JVM, report the problem to SAP.
