You use this function to edit existing libraries.

Procedure

  1. Call the transaction for maintaining libraries (transaction SLIBN).

  2. In the text field Reuse Library enter the name of the library (there is input help available for this field (F4): For more information, see Deleting Libraries).

  3. Choose Change (Change).

    • To position the cursor in the navigation area on the object currently being displayed, choose .

    • To select or deselect an object, choose it and then choose .

  4. To move an object in the tree structure: select it, click the location you want to move it to, and choose .

The following options are available when you edit libraries:

Editing Node

When creating and changing nodes you have the possibility of creating a:

  • Structure node,

  • Reuse product or

  • Reuse library.

In each case you can choose the documentation type for the node. The following types of documentation are available:

  • None

  • KW

  • SAPScript

  • HTML

    The name and path of the source to be entered depends on the chosen type of documentation. The source chosen is then displayed when you select the node.

    Inserting a node: You can go to the maintenance of Reuse products (SLIBP) from the dialog box.

Copying Nodes

To copy nodes to the clipboard, select a node and then choose .

Creating a Node as a Subnode
  1. To insert a node as a subnode, select a destination and choose Subnode (Subnode).

  2. Maintain the settings in the subsequent dialog box.

Creating a Node on the Same Level
  1. To insert a node on the same level, select a destination and choose Same Level (Same Level).

  2. Maintain the settings in the subsequent dialog box.

Changing Nodes

To change a node, choose Node (Node). The Nodes dialog box appears.

The type of maintenance depends on the selected node.

Example Example

When changing a structure node you can only make changes to the documentation.

When changing a Reuse product node you can make changes to all parts of a Reuse product, that is documentation, program objects, examples, and so on.

Displaying the Color Legend

The result of some actions is highlighted in the tree structure in color: To display the color legend, choose .
