XML export and import tool enables you to transport customizing objects from different systems which support BRFplus. An XML file is generated for the object that you want to export from the source system and import to the target system.

Procedure

Exporting Objects

  1. Choose   Tool   XML Export  .

    The XML Export page is displayed.

  2. In the XML File Export section, choose Select an object.

  3. In the Object Query dialog box that appears, enter the name of the object you want to export to your local system and choose Search.

  4. Select the object from the table and choose Select.

  5. The selected object for which the XML file will be generated appears in the Object field. .

  6. Choose Generate XML File. This action takes you to Step 3 where you have to download the XML file.

  7. Choose Download XML file.

    The XML file generated for the object appears in the Internet browser.

  8. Save the generated XML file in your local system.

Importing Objects

  1. Choose   Tool   XML Import  .

    The XML Import page is displayed.

  2. In the XML File Import section, choose Browse and select the path of the XML file you want to import.

  3. Choose Upload file.

    The import report appears.
