Preparing for Content Transport 

Use

To be able to perform transport of content that is created in the Composite Application Framework (CAF), complete the steps described in this procedure.

Procedure

...

       1.      Deploy the business entity services whose content you want to transport.

       2.      Check if the CAFAdmin role is assigned to your account.

You need this role to work with the administrative tools.

For more information, see Setting Up Roles.

       3.      Get permission for managing transport requests.

                            a.      Open the CAF Runtime Configurator  ®  Authorizations  ®  Authorization Assignment.

                            b.      From the left pane, choose sap.com/caf.tc/TransportRequest.

                            c.      Choose New Rule.

You can change the rule name and assign other principals, if needed.

                            d.      Choose Save Business Rules.

Result

Now you can transport a CAF content.
