Security Aspects for Usage Type DI and Other
Development Technologies
This section provides security information that applies when using the SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI) and other development technologies.
The Development Infrastructure of SAP NetWeaver (DI or NWDI) is the environment for all processes of Java-based development and software life-cycle management: In the Change Management Service (CMS), all phases of development are centrally managed from definition of a central development environment for each software project to quality management and production. CMS controls the management of sources in the Design Time Repository (DTR) and archives in the Component Build Service (CBS). The component model adds metadata to Java-based projects, which is the basis for the new development process.
