Custom Task Provider

If you need to implement a custom task provider so that a third-party task engine can be used with Task Gateway, see the SAP Community Network for more information http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-53315Information published on SAP site.

Task Consumption Model (TCM) Compliant Task Provider

If you have a TCM-compliant task provider in place, you can use this with Task Gateway. In this case, you do not need a custom task provider.

For more information about TCM-compliant providers, see Task Gateway Service.
Note

If your TCM-compliant task provider implementation does not already use the property SAP__Origin, you must add SAP__Origin and enter the value NA as a placeholder.

If necessary, you can delete metadata for the TCM-compliant task provider in transaction /IWPGW/TGW_TCM_SHMCTCM Provider - Clear Shared Memory.
