You use the log rule to define where the log files (containing exceptions) for the order allocation run (ARun) are saved in the database. You can also use this feature to save the success messages that were issued during the execution of online ARun, batch ARun, and ARun Workbench, in the database table.
You have defined a number range for the log file, in Customizing under
.This function enables you to log allocation/deallocation messages and exceptions that occur during the execution of online ARun, batch ARun, and ARun Workbench. The log rule also determines which of the following exceptions are included in the log file.
