Tile Type for Launching App

The Actual Cash Flow analytical app uses a KPI tile to launch the app.

This KPI requires an evaluation that specifies one or more input parameters. For more information see Configuration Settings: Actual Cash Flow.

Front-End Server: Enable App for Access in SAP Fiori Launchpad

The SAP Fiori launchpad is the entry point to apps. In the launchpad, the user can see and access those apps that have been assigned by an administrator to the catalog designed for this user's role.

Front-End Server and Back-End Server: Assign OData Service Authorizations to Users

You must assign OData service authorizations for the app to your users. The assignments must be made on the back-end server and on the front-end server.

Configuration Tasks

To be able to implement the app, you must perform the following configuration tasks in the back-end system:

  • Configure planning levels to classify cash flows according to the source financial transactions

  • Configure planning groups to classify cash flows by customer and vendor groups

  • Configure flow types to classify cash flows with respect to their life cycle

  • Configure liquidity items, liquidity item hierarchies, and liquidity item derivation rules to categorize cash flows according to the source and use of the cash movements

  • Activate source applications of accounting and the One Exposure from Operations hub to include the transactions of the activated applications to actual cash flow calculation
