Program sapcpe can work with compressed executable files (<filename>.Z) in the central directory. Program sapcpe uses the timestamp to detect changes in compressed files. If the compressed file is more up-to-date than the local copy, sapcpe copies the compressed file from the central directory to the local directory and decompresses it.
