Managing Exemptions in the Remote ATC ScenarioLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

Sometimes ATC findings cannot be corrected. It is possible that a finding is a false-positive result from the ATC check, without the option to clear it using pragmas or pseudo comments in the source code. Or perhaps, the issue is acceptable from the quality point of view and should or cannot be corrected - either on a temporary or permanent basis.

If you, as a developer, cannot clear an ATC finding by correcting the underlying problem, you can still suppress it by requesting an exemption. Once approved by a quality manager, an exemption masks an ATC error or warning message. The finding does not appear as an open issue in the new ATC results .
