ATC Active ResultsLocate this document in the navigation structure

You can designate an ATC central result as the active result. Making a result the active result designates it as the only current official result, the result that developers should check for findings and against which they should request exemptions.

In the ATC Result Browser in transaction SE80, the Object Navigator, the active result is marked by a light bulb icon, so that developers know to use it and no other central result.

There can only be a single active ATC result in any one ABAP system at any one time. Typically, in central quality checking with the ATC, the central result from the ATC master system is marked as the active result and is published to satellite development systems.

Each time you do a new central run, you can replace the old active result with the new result, so that developers have an up to date view of quality issues.

The ATC preserves the status of findings and exemptions across active results.
