Function documentationSearch

The Search screen area for transportation units (TUs) allows you to select TUs for which transportation planning has already been done.

Features

The selection criteria of the Search screen area are divided into the following sections:

  • Time Period

You can search for specific dates or date intervals, such as the planned route departure date, the planned goods issue date, or the planned delivery date. You can choose a date type with a Plan from/for Day and you can also choose a Plan from Time, Plan until Day, and Plan until Time. This allows you to save a search for, for example, tomorrow’s planning, instead of entering the date every day. You can personalize your search screen so that one of the saved searches is always performed as your default search.

  • Delivery

When you search for outbound delivery orders, the result list displays the TUs that contain these outbound delivery orders.

  • Transport

You can search using transport-relevant selection criteria for TUs that have already arrived at a checkpoint.

  • Other

    • You can search for TUs that do not have any outbound delivery orders assigned by choosing Include Selection of Empty Transportation Units.

    • You can search for TUs that have already left the warehouse by choosing Include Selection of Completed Transportation Units.

    • You can see the distribution status of the outbound delivery orders by choosing Determine Distribution Status.

By default this column only indicates whether or not there are split items. Note that choosing this option can considerably slow down the search.

The Search screen area closes automatically after a search was executed, assuming that the user usually performs a predefined saved search. If you have performed a search and you would like to repeat the same search again, you do not need to open up the Search screen area again; instead you can choose the Search button. This triggers a search using the same selection criteria that you entered previously.
