Editing Scripts and Traces in Transaction SAS

Creating a debugging script is often an ad hoc activity that you do quickly right in the debugger. The editor and tools are available directly in the new ABAP debugger on the Scripts tab.

However, if you wish to prepare scripts in advance or do not wish to block a work process with the debugger while creating a script, then you can start transaction SAS, ABAP Debugger Scripting and Tracing.

Transaction SAS lets you do all script management tasks except actually starting scripts. You can also view and manage not only your own traces but those created by other users.
