
You use the call Hierarchy Comparison tool to identify new branches in the program execution that were not executed in a previous execution of the program. Such different branches can be due to:
Differing program sources
Differing starting parameters, or custom data
Differing buffer state, which can lead to extra calls to fill buffers
Data Loading and Checks
After you have started the call hierarchy comparison, the system loads the traces. If they have been measured with different measurement variants, an information dialog appears, but a comparison is still possible.
