Saving BreakpointsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Procedure

If you would like to quit the debugger you can save the dynamic breakpoints. All breakpoints are retained for restarting the debugging in the same session.

To save the breakpoints that you have set in the Debugger:

Choose Start of the navigation path Breakpoint Next navigation step Save End of the navigation path. The system saves all of the breakpoints that you have set in the current program. These breakpoints will remain active until you either explicitly delete them or log off from the system.

Note

You can also delete breakpoints that you have saved:

  • To do this, remove individual breakpoints from the Breakpoint Display and then save again. In this case only selected breakpoints are deleted.

  • By choosing Start of the navigation path Breakpoint Next navigation step Delete all End of the navigation path. In this case, the system deletes all dynamic breakpoints.
