Coverage Analyzer Administration

The Coverage Analyzer offers a set of administrative functions for activating and configuring code coverage measurement.

You will find the following functions under Administration in transaction SCOV:

• On/Off, Status

  Here you can turn the Coverage Analyzer on or off. There is a 'main switch' for the Coverage Analyzer as a whole. If the main switch is on, you can also activate or deactivate the Coverage Analyzer on the ABAP application servers of a system.

  You can also activate or de-activate the background job that collects aggregated code coverage histories.

  On the Settings screen, you can several different tasks:

  • Limit the packages included in histories
  • Specify the code coverage standards for determining whether a processing block has been adequately exercised by testing
  • Set up collection of code coverage data from remote systems.
