Definition

The ABAP Unit Browser is integrated in the Object Navigator. It offers a view organized by test classes, which facilitates the retrieval of test class information.

Note

To enable the ABAP Unit Browser, in the Object Navigator (transaction code SE80), choose Start of the navigation path Utilities Next navigation step Settings End of the navigation path. On the Workbench tab, select ABAP Unit Test Browser.

Use

You use the ABAP Unit Test Browser as a common entry point for any development activity regarding your unit tests. Using the basic input control you can choose to display the unit tests of a development class or a favorite. The tree is refreshed. Using the menu you can trigger following actions:

  • Executing tests.

  • Navigating to the source code.

  • Adding test classes to favorites by starting the Favorite Editor.
