Business Context and Use

You can use this outbound operation to notify the external loading optimization system, which is connected to Site Logistic Processing, about planned loading based on a transportation unit appointment.

Features

The advanced loading notification of a transportation unit contains a stop of the transportation unit, which is an ordinal number of a route with the corresponding handling units and/or unpacked delivery items. At each stop, handling units and/or unpacked delivery items are loaded or unloaded.

This outbound operation returns the following data as output:

  • Yard resource appointment ID of the transportation unit appointment

  • Planned start of processing period

  • Planned end of processing period

  • Processing period

  • Yard bin, which is derived from the warehouse number and the yard bin where loading takes place

  • The resource that is planned to be used for the loading

  • The stop, which is an ordinal number of the route with deliveries and handling units to be loaded or unloaded
