Use

You can create notices for data records in the Web UI.

Prerequisites

To use the notice function you must activate the document properties for each characteristic of the planning cube (0PM_C06). This assigns exactly one data record to each notice.

You can also assign data groups to notices, for example, if one functional location should always be provided with one particular notice. In this case, you can activate the document property only for the corresponding characteristic (0FUNCT_LOC in this case).

From a technical perspective, notices are always saved for the combination of characteristics for which the document property is activated.

Activities

       1.      In the BW-BPS system, call up the processing for InfoObjects. Choose Modelling ® Object Maintenance ® InfoObject.

       2.      Call up the characteristics sequentially and activate the indicator Characteristic is Document Property on the General tab page.
