You use this procedure to deploy an integration flow to the runtime engine. The runtime engine receives the messages and after processing in the pipeline, it transfers the messages to the receiver systems.

Procedure

1. Deploy an integration flow

  1. In the PI explorer, select an integration flow and choose Deploy from its context menu.

  2. In the Deployment Log view, check the status of the integration flow.

  3. If you want to select a specific runtime adapter engine, follow the steps below:

    1. In the PI Explorer, double-click on the integration flow to open in the Model Configurator.

    2. In the Properties view, select the required Adapter Engine from the drop-down.

    Note Note

    • If you want to check all the details relevant to a deployment, select the request in the Deployment Log and choose View Deployment Trace from the context menu.

    • The Deployment Log view shows the status of the last deployment/undeployment operation performed on the integration flow. It does not show whether the integration flow is currently deployed to the runtime or not. If you want to validate the actual deployment status, select the integration flow and choose Check Deployment Status from the context menu.

2. (Optional) Undeploy an integration flow

  1. In the Deployment Log view, select the integration flow that has to be undeployed.

  2. Choose Undeploy from its context menu.

Note Note

If you want to check all the details relevant to an undeployment, select the request in the Deployment Log and choose View Deployment Trace from the context menu.
