Business Context and Use
The Sales Order interfaces provide the service operations that enable the seller to communicate with sales order processing in a composite environment. Depending on the seller’s requirements, the Sales Order interfaces are used to create, retrieve, or change sales orders. For example, when performing a trending analysis for a customer, the seller queries the Sales Order interfaces to obtain an overview of the orders that are blocked for delivery. The seller also queries the Sales Order interfaces to check information on a specific sales order item, for example.
