Create a custom policy configuration template to apply an authentication stack to different components without having to configure the policy configuration of components individually. Changes to the custom policy configuration then apply to all components that use this template.

Procedure

  1. Start SAP NetWeaver Administrator with the quick link /nwa/auth.

  2. Choose Components.

  3. Choose the Create pushbutton.

  4. Enter a name.

  5. Select Custom in the Type field.

  6. Choose the Create pushbutton.

Result

Edit the authentication stack and apply the custom template to policy configurations.
