Operating (liveCache)

In the Properties and Operating user menu of the DBA Cockpit you can start, stop, or initialize an SAP liveCache database, or register SAP liveCache applications.

When a database user performs administration functions, administration is locked for all other database users.

The starting, stopping or initializing of an SAP liveCache database is performed using the Database Manager CLI.

Procedure

Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction DBACOCKPIT) and choose Current Status Properties and Operating .

For SAP NetWeaver 7.1, you can access the operating actions through the Properties user menu.
