When working with SAP Business Workflow, workflow agents use only the Business Workplace. From the point of view of the workflow agent, starting workflows and executing work items means creating or approving a notification of absence, for example. All the technical aspects are irrelevant for agents.

In the event of problems of a technical nature, the workflow system administrator should be contacted. Any questions about the business process should be addressed to the process controller.
