Caution Caution

Note the restrictions when using internal or external actions regarding the application component type.

End of the caution.

Procedure

  1. Move the cursor over the application component.

  2. In the context menu, choose Add Actions. You can select an action from the list in the Select Actions dialog box.

    Note Note

Only those actions that are permitted for the selected application component are offered in the dialog box for selection (see Prerequisites).

    End of the note.
  3. Select an action.

  4. Choose Copy.

    Note Note

You can add actions from the navigation area to the individual application components using Drag and Drop. It is checked if the software component version of the action corresponds to a software component version of the application component. If not, the drag and drop process is terminated and a message appears.

The action is added graphically as a white box to the application component where you have placed your cursor. A description of the action is shown in the box. If there is no description for the action, the name of the action is displayed.

Note Note

You can create the description of the action in the Action Editor.

End of the note.
