Procedure

In the standard SAP system, if tRFC errors occur, a background job is generated to re-establish the connection. In certain circumstances this could result in a large number of background jobs being started that completely block background processing.

Note Note

To cancel a background job if tRFC errors occur use program RSARFCEX to restart tRFC.

In ALE Customizing (transaction SALE), select a connection to change:

  Communication   Create RFC Connections (SM59)   Destination   tRFC Options   and select the Suppress Background Job at Comm. Error option.
