Creating a Namespace 

Use

A software component version with at least one namespace must exist before you can create objects.

Prerequisites

You must have already created a software component version.

Procedure

...

       1.      Open a software component version and activate change mode.

       2.      Under Namespaces, choose Open.

This calls the namespace editor.

       3.      Activate change mode.

       4.      Insert the required namespaces into the table a line at a time.

To do this, choose Insert Line After Selection () and enter the namespace.

To delete a namespace, select the corresponding line of the table and choose Delete Selected Lines (). It is also possible to delete several namespaces at once.

Ensure that namespaces do not contain any objects before deleting them.

       5.      Choose Save.
